There are roughly 8 million Azerbaijanis located in Azerbaijan. This country was once former Soviet Republic (SSR), and achieved its independence only in 1991. This area is also known commonly as "North Azerbaijan".

Reaching the Azerbaijanis in this country for Jesus Christ, could have an impact on hundreds of millions in Western Asia and the Middle East.

Please pray for the believers already there, as well as those that will believe through their testimony. Pray that the government would continue to allow the free exercise of Christianity, a unique opportunity in this part of the world.
