Our friend Sevda has produced a series of high-quality videos for learning Azerbaijani. Her channel features over 90 lessons. Lesson sets included Azerbaijani for Beginners, Vocabulary, and Verbs.
LANGUAGE
The ILC offers three levels of Azerbaijani classes. Each level is twelve weeks, and classes meet twice weekly for two hours per session. Each level costs 720 AZN ($425 USD). ILC can also arrange for one-on-one tuturing online for workers preparing to move to Azerbaijan.
IDIOMA
Pronunciator features 10,000 instructional phrases per language, each accompanied by a detailed grammatical explanation. Languages offered include Azerbaijani, Russian, Persian and Turkish. You can purchase a subscription for $20/month. You can also access Pronunciator for free through many public library apps.
LANGUAGE
The online intensive summer Azerbaijani Workshop helps students develop their linguistic and cultural competency rapidly and effectively through live online instruction, extracurricular activities, authentic materials, and real-time interactions with instructors and presenters from Azerbaijan. Classes are conducted primarily in Azerbaijani and focus on the rapid development of practical communication skills. Azerbaijani 1 provides the equivalent of the 1st-Year curriculum in the Department of Central Eurasian Languages at Indiana University. Students who complete the course successfully will reach a proficiency of Intermediate Low or better. They will be able to communicate in day-to-day situations in Azerbaijani, will be able to read and write effectively on familiar topics, and will have a solid foundation for further study or travel. The deadline for applying is January 30.

By Kurtuluş Öztopçu, Ph.D. Elementary Azerbaijani has been adopted as a textbook at various universities and language schools in the USA and abroad where Azerbaijani is taught. The textbook includes Azerbaijani-English and English-Azerbaijani glossaries. It can be used in a classroom setting or as self-study aid. The book is based on an eclectic method that incorporates different aspects of various language-teaching methodologies. The multi-skills syllabus on which the course is based integrates structural, functional, lexical, phonological, situational, thematic, and cultural syllabi. Produced in partnership between Sulhun Berpasi and Create International, Bagishla Meni follows the difficult relationships of a young man named Azer as he learns to forgive others and find forgiveness for himself. The film was produced as a Novruz outreach, followed by forgiveness seminars hosted by the Sulhun Berpasi team.
